The club continued meeting again at the Tukwila Community Center!

The final meeting of 2023 was on December 20 in Tukwila, and featured "Holiday Themed Coins" as the display topic, and election of club officers for 2024.

Wednesday, October 25, 2023 - We geared up to celebrate our 60th anniversary in October. There was good food and membership prizes were awarded, however, this meeting was not considered a formal banquet. (Nonetheless, we're reporting on it like it was a banquet.) See photos and report.

Jim Payne Memorial Award (2023)! – The Jim Payne Memorial Service Award was not awarded in 2023. The club now plans to restart the award (last given in 2019) in 2024.

The BECC 58th annual coin show in Kent, Washington was held January 21-22, 2023.

Wooden nickels with the KC-46A design were available at the 2023 coin show until supplies were exhausted. Elongated cents were delayed due to the die not being ready, but were later available at the 2024 coin show. (One free wooden nickel and one free elongated cent per show attendee. Additional cents can usually be purchased.)
