BECC Banquet

The BECC held an annual banquet in October for many years. Banquets are usually characterized by great food, good fellowship, an informative speaker, and extra prizes!! BECC banquets are restricted to club members and their guests, and advance reservations and payment are required. Please inquire at a club meeting about future banquets.

BECC 2023 Banquet

We geared up to celebrate our 60th anniversary in October. There was good food and membership prizes were awarded, however, this meeting was not considered a formal banquet. (Nonetheless, we're reporting on it like it was a banquet.)

BECC 2022 Banquet

No BECC Annual Banquet for 2022 was scheduled, although “better refreshments” were served at the October meeting at the Tukwila Community Center.

BECC 2021 Banquet

The BECC Annual Banquet for 2021 was cancelled, although more informal dinner meetings did take place in October, November and December.

BECC 2020 Banquet

The BECC Annual Banquet for 2020 was cancelled.

BECC 2019 Banquet

The BECC Annual Banquet was held on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at the Tukwila Community Center. Doors opened at 5:00 p.m. Chris Fagan, author of The Expedition, spoke about the journey she and her husband made to the South Pole (the first American couple to make this trip, unassisted).

BECC 2018 Banquet

The Coin Club Banquet was held on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at the Tukwila Community Center. The doors opened at 5:00 p.m. so everyone could visit before the start of festivities at 5:30.

Leon Roberts, a retired Boeing test pilot, was our guest speaker, and the menu was BBQ. The Banquet price was $15 for those signed up before October 17, and $25 after. We hope you were at the Banquet, and walked away with the grand prize or some other rare coin! - Mike N.

BECC 2017 Banquet

The banquet was held on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 (one week early) due to conflicts at the Tukwila Community Center. The speaker was Boeing Historian Michael Lombardi, on the topic of "Making Dreams into Reality: The Epochal Stories That Define the Boeing Company."

Tickets for club members were priced at $15 until Oct 1, $20 until the day of the banquet, and $25 at the banquet. Pre-banquet promotion: Make time for the banquet this year to have some good Italian food catered by Maggiano’s, hear a great speaker, and maybe even win a great prize. The board approved two 2018 copper medals to be used as prizes, and we have all seen what those are worth at our monthly meeting auctions. Don’t miss out on the fun. - Mike N.

BECC 2016 Banquet

The 2016 BECC annual banquet was held on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at the Tukwila Community Center. We had a great speaker in Carrie Kipp-Howard, the author/editor of several fantastic Boeing books. There were also great prizes, and great Italian food from Gallianos Cucina in Tukwila and SeaTac.

BECC 2015 Banquet

The banquet, held on October 28, 2015 at the Tukwila Community Center, is now over. The theme was "Boeing – 100 Years," and the speaker was David Williams from the Hydroplane Museum. Mr. Williams spoke regarding Mira Slovak.
